Select the Woman to Write

Try some criteria to make a nice selection of women. Me personally I have a crush on athletic girls so I always look for sports as interest or 'athletic' as body description.

Features of Internet dating sites vary a lot here. Something you may want to check before you actually pay for a membership. Reason for the differences is the cleverness of the database engineer who helped building the site. Its design decides its functionality, and it happens that they thought up strange things, like making classes of ages:

It: "Do you like your women to be 20 to 30 years of age, or 30 to 40 years of age?"

You: "How about 25 to 35?"

It: "Sorry we do not have that sir."

And in some case you can choose very nice criteria: whether she thinks sex is important in relationships, her zodiac sign, her favorite brand of cars, to name a few useless ones.

Often it helps to just to dig through the whole haystack to see what is available and what kind of women spark your inspiration. Just click: give me all women in my county or city. Many sites then sort the 10.000 matches by date of creation of the profile or last moment they logged in.

Play around.

The message

First off: do not fall into the trap of thinking you can actually drag one particular girl from the net. Many things can make that this one nice and beautiful woman does not respond to you: Maybe she is on vacation, maybe her email address does not work anymore, maybe she just fell in love... For whatever reason: many women simply do not respond to your messages.

Having said that: think efficiency when writing the first few emails. An hour spent on one message for one particular girl, may very well be a wasted hour. Being able to send one great message within a few seconds to many women greatly saves time, while enhancing the chances of you actually writing with and dating women.

I myself use a standard message, in which I change THREE words, and then send. Writing a woman takes me 30 seconds at max. And with the message I will show you, I get a 20-30% response rate. 30 profiles = 6 responses. I do 30 profiles an hour.

The message:

Hi Lisa,

I imagine you are an energetic and sociable girl. And I think we both

enjoy meeting new people.

Hmmm... but for the rest you are still a little bit a mystery to me.

I think you get to learn someone well by asking for the things he or

she likes to do... so let me describe you a situation: imagine we are

emailing, like each other and decide to go out an evening together.

It has been a great evening on which you look back with satisfaction.

Where were we? And what did we do?

Kind regards,

How it works:

1 - I make a selection of women

2 - I see a woman I like

3 - I open 'standardmessage.txt'

4 - I put in Lisa

5 - I put in energetic, as she writes in her profile she is

6 - I put in sociable, as she also writes she is

7 - Then, for the computer literates: <CTRL-A> <CTRL-C> <CTRL-V> <SEND>

Putting words she uses to describe herself in the standard message, which I do in point 5 and 6 works like telling a blind man that there is something wrong with his eyes, but it works. Women go like: Wow!

How did you know?

Sentence 2 creates a link between us both: I think we both...

Sentence 3 makes her start selling herself to you in a fun way. The word mystery is a powerful marketing term.

Then comes a situation description that sparks her imagination, a call for action and a peek into the future: a meeting with you that has already taken place.

Then you give her a challenge to come up with something good.

Girls love challenges.

The reply shows her creativity and her taste, which I find important. If she comes back with dumb things, she might not inspire me. And if she comes back with: it has to be at least a dinner in this expensive restaurant, and you pay, and she means it... bad luck for her.

I actually used this message (a lot). So you might want to tweak it a bit. To inspire you to come up with your own challenge: think about the tests you find in women's magazines: Do you know theory Z? It runs like this –short story-. So, are you a type A, type B, or the naught type C?

You get the hang of it.

Maybe even you can send a travel story and have a shipwreck. She winds up on a desolate island where she has to survive for a month. What will she do?

For women kinds of challenges brighten up their boring day and make them think in ways they have not thought before, and it was you who brought them the experience. Good start.

When she writes, write back - not within an hour, but over night. And make sure to write back within 48 hours; else the anticipation will be gone.

Keeping track of the women you write

It sound like a dream maybe now, but you will desperately be in need of a system to keep track of the women and the message you write. At one moment you may be in contact with 10 women simultaneously, and losing any one of them because you mix two women up, is a painful mistake that can be avoided.

How to handle it? ...Make a database.

A simple one can be set up using a spreadsheet. Write down her online name, her real name, her email address, and some details you find interesting (hometown, height, weight, eye color, breast size).

Make a line for every woman that responds to your initial message, and link an electronic document to every line. In this document keep track of the mails you send her and the replies you write. Hint: It makes you look really intelligent if you can cite something from 2 mails ago.

In Microsoft office talk: make an excel file, a row for every woman. Right-click on a woman's name, select 'hyperlink' from the menu that appears, select the word document that holds her profile and the email conversation.

Add a cell that tells you whether you were the last one to write, or she to respond and jot down the date when it happened. That way you can keep track of your response speed and hers. If a woman has not written you for 5 days, send a reminder and quote your last response: the email you wrote to her is probably already drowned in her other emails.

Welcome to the world of people that run a database to keep track of the women they are dating online...
